Amazon Delivers?

I read earlier this week that Amazon partnered with online food ordering company Olo in hopes adding fast food in their delivering food services. To be honest, I didn't even know that Amazon delivered food. Uber Eats has taken over the online ordering and delivery service of food in the recent years. With this new partnership, Amazon hopes to change that.

Olo has an exclusive network of more than 200 brands, including major fast food restaurants like Chipotle and Five Guys, all across the United States. The online food industry is expected to increase by 79 percent according to analysts. So it was better late than never that Amazon has made this partnership.

What makes Amazon different from Uber Eats?

Well, Amazon hopes to have exclusive restaurants with their delivery service that Uber Eats will not. They hope that this will attract customers to order food with them.  Once the restaurants pick a side, then it will eventually come down to delivery time and price.  But for now, Amazon needs to get a foot in the door.
